Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Canvas Blocks is an iPhone puzzle game. This policy explains what information is involved when you play it. The short version: the game itself doesn’t collect anything about you. Ads in the free version are provided by Google AdMob, and Apple handles purchases.
What the game keeps, and where
Your progress (the board you’re playing, your scores, finished paintings and settings) is stored only on your device. There’s no account and no sign-in, and we don’t run servers that receive your game data. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Ads (Google AdMob)
Canvas Blocks shows two kinds of ads: an optional video you can choose to watch to make room on a full board, and an occasional full-screen ad between games. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information from your device, including:
- Device and advertising identifiers (the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking; see below)
- IP address and the approximate location derived from it
- Ad interactions (for example, that an ad was shown or tapped)
- Diagnostic and performance information
How Google uses this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): you’ll be asked whether Google may use your data for personalised ads. You can change your choice any time in the game under Settings → Privacy choices.
- Tracking: iOS asks whether the game may use your advertising identifier. The game works the same either way. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Remove Ads: an optional one-time purchase turns off the between-game ads. The optional rescue video stays available if you want it.
Purchases
The Remove Ads purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The game only checks with Apple whether the purchase is active on your Apple ID.
Analytics
Canvas Blocks doesn’t currently send gameplay analytics to us or to any analytics service. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
This website
canvasblocks.com uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It collects standard information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. It doesn’t identify you personally, and this is separate from the game: the app itself sends no analytics.
Children
Canvas Blocks is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
